3.2 MANPOWER PLANNING :-

→ Manpower planning is essentially acquiring the right kind of people into the right jobs and at the right time.

Features of Manpower Planning as :-

(1) It is a managerial function.
(2) It is a process not a single activity.
(3) It is qualitative and quantitiative in nature.
(4) Manpower planning is forward-looking function.
(5) It begings with estaablishment of overall objectives and human resource objetives in particular.
